Tambayan Complex

I happened to pass by UP a couple of weekends ago and I found that the tambayan complex has been slowly wasting away. This makeshift tambayan between Yakal and Ipil used to house 6 orgs all at once. These days it sits idly; occasionally prowled by cats and dogs and libido-driven in-betweens seeking for food and the concealing solace of the dark.

Last week, I was saddened to see that it was completely torn down.

This 13 second exposure of Pasig River seems to be otherworldly, surreal even. With all the lights reflected gracefully like this, who would think a stench so foul could come out from this river in broad daylight? If only photography could arrest the other senses as well.
